A seller to Block

Wow, never heard of a seller posting an item without a reserve and then having a half book minimum clause. If I received that invoice I'd definately send it to eBay's trust and safety folks to peer at. It defeats the purpose of an auction. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. A couple of my modern graded cards ended well last night while a couple of gems barely sold for more than the slab fee. Sell and move on to the next as a card is only worth what the highest bidder is willing to pay at the time of the sale.

  • I reported this douche (I was actually able to call eBay and use my "silver Power Seller" status (haha, the power I have!) and refer them to the auction!!)
  • Just to be clear this wasnt a auction I bid on. Helping a post I saw on ebay msg. board. I re-read the sellers post and they said OP was stiffing him and I have no direct connection.

jmbkb4- Thanks. It's good to know people high up. lol

  • Thanks 1989FleerBillRipkencollector and jmbkb4,

I put a post about this situation on ebay and you must have picked it up and copied to PSA. I didn't see all the responses until today. Thanks for all the support.

Just an update. I really tried to work with this guy. I put my Order Details in for $7.80 for the card and this is the response I got back from Richard Wilson

" money will be refunded upon receipt .
sale has been completed, thanks for being energetic. RW

I had no other choice but to turn him over to ebay. I'm glad he took down his other sale for the '62 Kilmer 320104929895

I bought a '64 Philly set from this guy for over $400.00 and this is the treatment I get. He's willing to give up a good customer like me over a few bucks. I should let it go, but its the principle of the matter and I really like buying and selling on ebay. I don't have patience for people not willing to play by the rules.

Should I give him a negative feedback? More as a warning to others than an action to make me feel better.

"Should I give him a negative feedback?"

Monitor his conduct for a while. EBAY may have
put the fear of Jesus into him, and he may reform.
If he does straighten-up, a NEG would not be necessary.

  • If you are rating this transaction only, neg him.

Now I know why my question was never answered.

I would definitely give him a neg. That is outright fraudulent.

In any case, I'm glad you didn't let this eBay clown bully you.
