  it sure looks like a real error to my untrained eyes and boy the
  price is right. by posting here you may have given yourself
  some competition :-(
  
  not me though. i only collect wheat pennies from circ, garage sales,
  etc...

  It's actually only a single die break, and way more interesting as a result. I actually mentioned this on another thread earlier this week. See discussion here. I'll hold off on bidding as a courtesy, but it would be a nice rip if it closes at $4...
