Anyone know what the best web site (other than eBay) is for prices on California Territorial gold?

I have an opportunity to buy one and would like to see what the coins are selling for.

I checked eBay, Heritage and Teletrade, and there was not a lot of info.

Who has the largest dealer inventory?

Heritage auction archives are the only comprehensive and current guides available for cal gold. Kagins has the most extensive inventory. The Jay Roe collection auction By B & M in 2003 (corrected) has nearly every BG variety listed - but the prices realized are obviously are out of date. However, if you can't find any recent records, the Roe collection can give you a bearing and place to start from. Is the piece slabbed?

IF you need any prices out of the Roe catalog PM me the BG number. As the slabs go, I find NGC typically grades a point higher in mint state than PCGS - IMO I would be hesitant to pay premiums for NGC coins. I have found several Roe coins that have been crossed over to NGC at higher grades 1-2 points higher.
