Here is a little numismatic history to share with you all.

I received this 1881-S Wayne Miller Plate Coin from a good friend of mine who also collects PL Morgans. He sent me the original paper work and the book the coin is pictured in " An Analysis of Morgan and Peace Dollars" 1st Edition. He won the coin back in May 1979 from Steve Ivy Numismatic Auctions and was given the notarized paper with Waynes signature. The coin had been graded by PCGS, but was lacking the pedigree designation on the holder. I called up PCGS and they told me to send in the coin with the notarized paper and they would have it designated. This coin is showing good reflection in the fields with nice frosted devices, very close to being DMPL.

Check out the price of the 1881-S in BU thirty years ago, only $9.00
