    Yeah I can....

    Some toning is obvious to my eyes, such as mint set Frankies, and many of these remain in rattlers...

    uh, no matter to me. makes no difference to me what kind of temporary plastic holder a coin is stuck in

    There ARE many overgraded coins in Rattlers and OGHs. And they are much more prevalent given that most of the PQ coins in these holders have been upgraded already.

    Sure. I haven't seen any rattlers that exhibit textile toning that I would even consider to be AT. I doubt the problem in general is really all that widespread anyway. Most AT is on raw coins with slight problems that can be covered up with AT.

    Not so much rattlers, but another company seems to have a high percentage of suspect toners in their holders. I wince when I see the more obvious of them for auction. Knowing that some newbie is probably going to buy, thinking these were toned 20 years ago, when they were done last year in a lab. Probably done by some coin doc with a seven figure bank account who laughs at all the gullible ones that buy his/her wares.

    One of the board members (manofcoins) was caught ATing coins that were already in rattler holders which are not totally air tight.

    I agree with this. These are often seen on ebay. I'm not saying that there aren't any upgradable coins left, but a great deal of coins have already been upgraded.

    Yeah, but Perry, this guy just joined.

    Not only is BigBubba an alt ID (and bubbah was already an alt ID for supercarcoins), methinks it's in preparation for getting caught with the alt ID he's had since January that's wearing thin. Right, Michael? That will be four ID's in about that many months.

    The only rattlers I've seen lately are untoned Morgans. Did PCGS ever put a small, square "PQ" sticker on the rattlers?

    .........did you hear about the guy that kept his rare coins on his boat ? He was always shooting off his mouth with little accountability on the boards

    without realizing there are many diffrent kinds of folks in the world........... one day He locked horns with a young man that ran drugs out of southern Florida .....

    The young man tracked him down , had him tailed and eventually had a scuba diver cut a hole in the hull of his dingy -stole ALL his coins AND blew up his boat !!

    They never found the guys body either !!
