I hate seeing stuff like this, and he has a bunch more up for sale. I asked him on his first and last auctions if they were the washington dollars or not... what do you think the odds are that he posts his response? Or even answers my question at all?

"Hot, Error, Washington, Sacagawea, uncirculated, ms65+?"
Your listing is not clear; are these 2007 Washington golden dollars or 2007 Sacagawea Golden dollars?
His responce:
Yes, thank you for looking.
Does this sound like a good responce to you?

rrsmondo is the seller.
Which dollar do you think I am selling? The good part about Ebay is you can move to the next item if you don't like what you see. I am selling the Washington's but I will not sell to you. Your question smells of wanting refunds, cherry picking coins and bad feedback. I have now blocked you. Didn't anybody ever tell you not to judge a book by it's cover. Good Day to you.
What a real MUTT.
Steve
Thank you.
Intentional Fraud is never good.
<< <i>It seems that with all of eBays resources they would have someone watch these auctions. >>
Why should they pay someone when folks here like you seem to want to do it for free?

My listings were canceled due to shill bidding? I don't understand, all my items were buy it nows. If I get my listing fee'sback I will relist the Washington's at the same price, if not I will have to raise the price to cover the cost. I will email you either way.
Thx
What makes him think I want to know about his scam listings
He'll be back next week with a new eBay member name

He may be back, but he will need a new bank acct, credit card, ISP, and computer in order to register.
Ebay allows you to sell almost everything on their host site. They don't pretend to be an expert in everything. They don't have a single staff numismatist. They rely on feedback from knowledgable consumers like you. That's their business plan. Seems the system worked this time.
It doesn't always work in time for them to get it shut down before the auction closes. Thats why we all have to practice the age old premise on which capitalism is founded, caveat emptor.
In this case, neither you nor I was in any danger of being defrauded.
