Vichy France 1942 franc

What is the Vichy France 1942 1 franc without signature variety? what is this signature?

I think it's the little LB monogram (or whatever that is), off to the northeast of the axe. If there is nothing to the right and slightly above the axe, I guess that would be the no signature variety.

Edit: I just looked at a 1943 coin. The signature is not northeast of the axe, it's due east. To the right of, not right and above. Just above the end of the right-hand wheat stalk.

As I recall, the variety without the designer's initial (LB for Lucien Bazor) is between forget that new car rare and second mortgage on your house rare.

If the one without the signature is that rare, it brings the thought that somewhere there must be somebody removing signatures from aluminum Vichy francs. Certainly if it were a US coin, that would be the case.

Thanks Lord M, i thought that might be the case, seeing how there isn't many elements to the coin.
