Not exactly odd, but without mentioning names, I have received a couple PMs from members I have never heard??

    I got one from a new member pimping a Mantle auction...
    Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

    Yep, same here. I didn't bother clicking on the link from someone whose name rhymes with "crinkers." The link would take you to tinyurl.com which I never heard of, so no clickie there for me....

    Yes it is spam, it sends you to a tinyurl site and the sender gets paid by ebay for each hit. The MOD has been quite busy as of late in regard to that crap.

    Last week it was an Aaron rookie that we got hit with.

    We have been under a veritable blitz of these spammers lately. EZ 20+++ with a lot of them linking an ebay lot and they are paid by the number of clicks. If you see a "tinyURL" in the link, it's a spammer, but it's not limited to just that clue
