Since we have another thread now with this scenario. And Joe, sorry about your accident. You must have sustained quite a brain injury to have forgotten completely a thread only 3 weeks old.

So what happened? Don't we rate an end of this tale after all the advice we gave you?

The item weights over thirty pounds. It's relatively fragile and subject to breaking open if the package is dropped or too much torque is applied. I have shipped $100 boxes of nickels with no problem, but it takes a great deal of packaging and a lot of the seller's time. As a buyer, I would not necessarily trust the post office to deliver such an item intact, with no burst rolls.

For perhaps the first time ever, I have to agree with Bochiman (at least in part): according to your OP, the buyer made a request, not a demand. Given that he was just asking, I think your response was a little rude. It was also confusing--just say yes, with postal money orders, or no, pay me immediately. As another poster said, you can disagree without coming across so harshly. Example:

"I'm fine with meeting you at xxxxxx, but I'll only accept Postal Money orders, or PayPal payment made in advance."

    OR

"I'm afraid it would be too inconvenient for me to arrange local pickup at a suitable location. Please remit payment and I will ship these items to you."
I heard they were making a French version of Medal of Honor. I wonder how many hotkeys it'll have for "surrender."

Is paypal such a good idea? What if he does a chargeback? I would think cash would also be acceptible.

I like the meeting at the local police station idea. I advise all my divorce clients to exchange their kids for visitation at the police station. Its safe there.
