How significant is Stack’s upcoming May Sale for colonials?
I was riding the rail into Manhattan yesterday, and I dutifully read the latest issue of Coin World on the way. In CW, I noticed a full page ad from Stack’s announcing their May Sale (I think that is what it is called). The advertisement highlighted a big consignment of colonial coins that will be in the sale. It said that there will be rare varieties, types, etc. I don’t know much about colonials. How significant are the coins in this sale? Is this going to be a blockbuster?
On an unrelated note, yesterday I was standing outside of the Marriott Marquis hotel, which is smack dab in the middle of Times Square. A middle-aged female tourist comes up to me, and in a clear, Southern accent, asks me where Times Square is. I gave her my best imitation of a New Yorker sneer, and I simply said, “turn around”. Then she actually said, “OK. How many blocks do I have to walk to get there?”. Some tourists should not leave their hotels without a chaperone.

There are some coins here which don't trade often and which will thus get an awful lot of attention come auction day, though a lot of the good stuff wasn't plated in the ad.
