Got First-Ever Grades...Lincolns and IHC

If the grade doesn't fit, you must resubmit:

Questionable Color

Ok, my first ever submission to PCGS and I've learned somethings. Number one, I can grade uncirculated Lincoln and IH cents. Number two, color on Lincolns is always a wag when it comes to PCGS.

1919-S 1C US Questionable ColorRD
1934 1C US MS66RD
1929 1C US MS64BN
1906 1C US MS64BN
1919 1C US MS64BN

My Grades Before Submitting (Expected Grades):
1919-s ms64BN
1934 ms65RD w/good shot @ MS66
1929 ms64BN
1906 ms63RB
1919 MS64BN

The '29 was a throw-in to give me 5 coins for the economy submission. I am pissed about the 1919-P MS64BN grade as I bought that from a very reputable dealer for strong MS65 money. I knew when I received the coin it was a 64 but thought that since it was from a seasoned professional that they knew better...

Overall, satisfied with the grades and the learning experience. The 1919-s will reside in a slab before the end-of the summer.!

Did you get TruView on the other coins too? No offense meant, but I agree with PCGS's decision to BB the 19S, it looks helped. Look forward to seeing pics of the rest if you got them.

Nice job. Yes, I'd like to see the browns also if you have images. Bottom line, you gotta give it a shot, and it's really not a bad price for the education.

Thank You as Well, Sir! May the wind always be at your back and your PCGS submissions be free of body-bags!image

No Tru-views of the other coins. I will post pixs when they come back from the factory. That gentleman Phil takes some wicked (great) pictures.

Nice grades, sadly however, I must agree with PCGS's QT on the 1919-S. The color just doesn't seem right on that one...it just seems to floart on the coin instead of being part of it.

I think the 1919 S is MS64 RB and is not questionable at all. I'd bet my ex-wife's life on it.

Not bad at all on a first submission. Not bad at all for any copper submission. I think you did great. image
