Might help if you let us know what coin series you are inquiring about.... cents, nickels, etc?

I'm not familiar with any well known doubled die reverse for the year 2000.... perhaps someone else may be able to shed some light on it.

    Anyways.... welcome to the boards!

Hi McGilla. Sounds familiar, but the CONECA variety master listings don't mention a 2000. Welcome aboard. Have you found one?

  • I have found a Lincoln cent 2000 double die very prominent in the words “ UNITED STATES OF AMERICA “
I can post a few pics. If you care to see.

Interesting. Lots of doubling going on. Not sure if it's machine/strike doubling or a doubled die. I think others will be weighing in. Nice images.

  • Thanks, I looked at the coin under 200x magnification and could not find a sharp edge any wear.
