RichardShipp did a nice job on the RP -- it's rare to see them photographed so attractively.
I like Brandon's work on the MS68 Morgan too. The pattern of the reflections seems to really complement the toning on an extraordinary, extraordinary coin.
I can't say that I nailed this one. But does it count if someone else stapled it?

Don't have a great obverse yet, it's an 1880-o 62dmpl, but nailed the reverse.
Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. Will’sProoflikes
I have several images of this coin that I do not like. This one, shot today, is pretty dang close to nailing it. At least in terms of the color. The detail could be finer, but nailing both detail (luster) AND color is an elusive event for me still.

Just took this, and by golly, the imaging lessons I'm getting from the forum are paying off! Thanks ever so much, you know who you are, and I'll always remember the little people who I climbed over to get here!

I took these new photos Saturday morning July 21, 2007 using diffuse natural sunlight.
I really love the way that these depict the strong strike details within the frosty devices, and also capture their strong contrast with the deeply prooflike mirrored fields.

Thats one way to make your own nickel...
If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!

As I've mentioned here before, Brandon has mastered the art of full slab imaging.
He gets it, unlike any other dealer.
