What is the most accurate published price guide for CIRCULATED US coins?

    Price guides for even circulated coins are becoming less useful. Just like with MS coins the high quality stuff often sells for the price of the next higher grade.

    I don't know how price guides can reflect this. Maybe they're obsolete and doomed to be replaced by auction archives.
