Parsippany Show -- Happening this Sunday 4/1?

droopyddroopyd Posts: 5,381 ✭✭✭
Haven't been before but I've heard good things from some of you boardies, and I've got some scratch burning a hole in my pocket this month....

Can one get there by NJ Transit (train or bus) from Manhattan?

Thanks!

I think you can take the Lakeland bus from the Port Authority. It right down Route 46. Look at the Lakeland bus website, should be able to give you more info.

I would call them to see if you can get off at Baldwin Road. If NOT, you can get off at Beverwyk and walk, its not too far.

Yeah, I'd look into that as well, as there is a bus stop right at the corner of Rt.46 and the road the PAL building is on.

It leaves from Beverwyk & rt 46 every hour on the weekend.

Why is it that some people on the board make such a point of NOT being helpful?

Does it bring happiness to your life?

Not that one, but decamp which also runs to and fro NYC, and is on time or 2-3 min late.

    ok misunderstood,
    that other bus never shows
  • Hope you can make it DroopyD...it IS a good show...largest monthly show in the East if not the whole country...so I've been told. Stop by and say "hi" if you make it...I'm in the center aisleimage

BTW...some of these Jersey Bus Lines can be a little loose with their schedules, especially on weekends. Just confirm return info with the bus driver when you head out from NY. There is a bus stop at the corner of Baldwin Rd. so I would imagine they will stop there.

THANKS!!!! The Lakeland 46 bus is perfect. They have a ticket agent at the Baldwin Pharmacy, so I'm guessing they do stop at the corner of Baldwin. If not, I'll just walk from the Beverwyck stop.

    droopyd:

You might also consider attending the White Plains show (April 13-16); it's at the Westchester County Center in White Plains and might be near the MetroNorth station.

There is going to be some unusually nice stuff there this sunday...I heard a rumor. imageimage Droopyd, if you need a ride back to the Decamp line into the city around noon or so, ask Tommy from Dart coin, or Bill Wexler, or Bob the so-called dollar guy in the first row to point out Dr Mike and I will get you back to the bus.

MY RESPONSE APPLIES TO THE MAY 6 SHOW THIS SUNDAY UPCOMING ....
