    No, they would not. I am not experienced enough to say for 100% but that is an altered coin. I see them a lot on ebay and it (in a way) is destructive of the coin thus rendering it not a gradeable item. Sort of like the elongated pennies, I dont think PCGS will grade them either.

    Am I wrong?

    Do a search on this site as there are numerous threads about shrunken or shrunk coins. image

    The guy wo does these is here in the Chicago area. I have a Morgan he did about 4 years ago.
    It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
