Change purse inspection - nothing too good

StrikeOutXXXStrikeOutXXX Posts: 3,352 ✭✭✭✭✭
I did my monthly confiscation of my wife's change purse to pass an hour or so. Only found a few cool things.

'07 Montana quarter. Die crack from the left horn to the rim
'92 dime die crack 2nd "A" in America
'85 cent machine doubling of "85" looks like.

Still only worth 36 cents, but I find an hour of looking at change and finding nothing is still better than any hour at work image

Good gravy, what amazing pictures! Strikeout - you should do images professionally. Some of the images I see in variety attribution guieds stink. With images like yours, attribution would not only be fun, but easy as well.

Thanks you two. I feel pretty confident with my close-up pics, I'm using a 29x Canon Micrographics lens freehand - and those pics were shrunk to 20% of original. My tripod setup sucks for the close-ups and I still need to work on my lighting technique and set-up with whole-coins, but someday I'll get it.
