FACELESS GW on ebay WITH edge lettering - Scam?

Looks scam to me

so this guy is new to ebay...no paypal...selling a faceless GW with edge lettering...

humm...report???

I expected to see an auction with no or low bids...wow, there are some less-than-intelligent people out there.

Is there a chance that this guy is legit? Other than his being new to eBay what are the red flags that I am missing here? Don't get me wrong, I would never bid on this but I do think there is a chance that he really does have the coin in question and that it would be a smooth transaction for the winning bidder. We were all new to eBay at one time and it could be that when the seller found this coin he decided to sign up and sell it. Or am I missing something?

He didnt find this. He states he bought at a dealer... If he bougth this at a dealer he probably paid big big bucks for it.

Second if he really bought this from a dealer and paid big bucks for it, he would know what this coin is all about. Would post decent pictures and pictures of the edge. Because the faceless with edge lettering is very very rare. He doesn't look like hes a coin collector either why would he buy this coin? im positive if a dealer had this they wouldn't sell it cheap. That error is VERY VERY RARE, its not like the smooth that they're thousands of them out there.

and old my camera doesn't take good pictures...

When i first started on ebay i made sure i was ID verified and accepted paypal. I know buyers are afraid to buy from new sellers so i did everything i could to show i was legit. ID Verified and Paypal i think helps alot. He doesnt have any of those...

I dunno. Its just my opinion..

heres another red flag. I emailed him and asked if i could pick it up.

here is the answer

"i dont do pick ups sorry because i travel for my job so when this listing ends ill be back to ship it to who ever wins and then i go back to work sorry."

why would you go back to your house to ship it?..lol...

come on...

he emailed me again and wrote this

"you get free insurance when you buy this coin so there is no worry of it getting lost."

It's a sham......and a shame, while we're at
