Pulled 10 - 15 MS-63 or betters from 52' on up on the quarters . I was pretty damn happy with what I picked up . Got a few decent Mercs too.

Wow, even a noncollector should see a score in that one. Maybe even a "you suck".

After all, noncollectors DO know what silver is, right? And that it is a "precious metal"?

    One would hope so.

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

You did great! Just show her Coinflation.com

<< <i>Wow, even a noncollector should see a score in that one. Maybe even a "you suck". >>

Well, the "you suck" is conditional on what the better coins are. At melt for the quarters and dimes, he did well but only about as well as buying a single 20th Anniversary ASE set from the Mint image

You should be able to flip to any local dealer who buys and sells "junk silver" for a profit, since you paid less than half of melt for it...

Ditto, they get all excited, but never listen to me, either! (Why is that?)

Nice bidding, Reaper. Your actually wife sounds recruitable, once she finds out that those quarters are worth $240.00, not counting your "finds". Just get busy educating her - she will probably become a bigger enthusiast than you are. Then we will see who's "crazy."

Check local newspaper & internet for local auction people or houses in your area . Most auctioneers have websites with up coming auctions , at least around here they do .

Tell her to take a good look at the resale value of diamonds. That should be the last of any problems.
