1909-S VDB: Play or pass

Is this a decent 64 red? Should I bid on it and if so how much? I need one to complete my wheat cent set.

Pass--I don't like those spots or lustre... at least in the image.

I'm not sure I'm fond of the little black flecks (carbon spots?), but otherwise, it's decent looking. I am not commenting on the price one way or another, either, since I don't know what these fetch these days, never having owned one.

Looks nice enough to me. But then again I don't own one in plastic so I don't know.

Pass, It looks like they cleaned up the image on the enlarged pictures, use the pan and zoom on the holder pictures and the surface look much worse. Lot's of deception going on there.

It's decent enough, but if you wait, you can certainly find a somewhat nicer one for about the same price.

I somehow doubt Heritage is selling phony "1919-S VDB" cents, or that PCGS is grading those.
