If you were to sell on eBay, listing time preferred.

On a several thousand dollar item, do you prefer 3, 5, 7 or 10 day viewing period?

My favorite listing time is when the right two bidders want the coin.

List it tonight...10 days to end on Sunday.

If it is a highly desirable coin it really does not matter, especially if it is BIN.

As a buyer I dislike 1 day and 10 day auctions.
As a seller I've always went with the 7 day auction.
Probably the best results will be when the auction ends in the evening on a weekend.

Probably 10 days starting RIGHT NOW! And of course I'll do Russ's useless answer one better.. When a crowd of bidders really, really uh I mean really like are Jonesing for your coin!

Allways list at some time different than I do. Nobody bids on my auctions, but then I don't sell high dollar coins.

7 days is pretty standard, i like ending on Sunday or Monday nights,
or 10 day listings starting on thursday to get maximum weekend exposure.

I like a 5 days auction ending on Sunday night. I've tried 10 day auctions but found there is very little or no activity for about 7 of those days. I guess everybody is just looking to snipe.

I listed 2 items last night and have 27 trackers and 6 bids, so all is well with 9 days to go. The double weekend exposure is good...never thought of that tactic.

((I must bring out the lunatic fringe...such meanspirited attacking.))

End sometime between 8 and 9:30 PM. That takes care of most of the time zones.

I start mine at 9:15pm EST. Seven day auction on any day except Fri and Sat. There are a bunch of auctions ending on Sunday and Monday. I prefer Wed. only because there are fewer closing. Just an observation.
