Is anyone on the east coast making a killing selling bank boxes of Washington Dollars?
I bet there are a lot of folks on the west coast who would love a stab at getting some godless dollars. Ive always made good money selling boxes of the monticello nickels and state quarters to people on the other side of the country. With all of the Washington dollar hype, I bet you could get a nice profit selling sealed bank boxes of P-dollars on eBay right now. Then again, it might be considerably harder to get your hands on unopened boxes right now. Just curious if anyone else is doing this since I cant over here in New Mexico.

However, I could see how there would be such a run on these Washingtons that they are getting 100 people a day asking for boxes of them and they might just be getting sick of it. Due to the error and all of the publicity it is receiving, I could even see how there would be more demand then supply at this point and some banks might not be willing to order them for you.
Has anyone been selling unopened boxes? I see rolls on eBay but Im curious about an entire box. If so... what % profit are you seeing on this "risk free" investment?
<< <i>I guess its all about finding the right bank. When I was selling 20 Monticello boxes a week I would try to go into Wells Fargo or other large national bank thinking I would have better chances of getting/ordering quantity boxes and they were basically jerks to me since I didn't have an account with them. However, my little federal credit union (where I bank) never gave me any hassles about ordering 20 boxes a week. They said I could order anything I wanted, I just had to wait a week for it to come in. So every week I would pick up my boxes and place another order for the next week.

I have seen a couple of boxes sell and they are doubling their money and sometimes a little more.
<< <i>Nice way to make a quick $1000. Imagine if you had the money to drop and picked up 10 boxes from a bank. You'd be sitting pretty.
Yesterday was the ideal day to be sitting on a brick of dollars.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
<< <i>When I was doing my deposits today I decided to grab a couple rolls just for the hell of it. Guess what I found in both rolls?
I hope you don't get a you suck

<< <i>Geez. Maybe this way would be better. Thats quite a gamble. Not to mention people are selling rolls BIN for way cheaper. Are some people too lazy to look? >>
How can this seller do this???
Let alone, the bidders must be devoid of any coin knowledge!!!!
"You are bidding on one unopened roll of 25 uncirculated one dollar coins. Face Value is $25.
2007 P George Washington Uncirculated Presidential Dollars.
This is a heads/heads roll."
Heads/heads roll???????????????????

Shoulda kept them in the rolls then, instead of opening them

The seller is lame? Why? He listed a roll with no hype, no mention of possible errors. There is nothing lame about the seller.

I looked at the auction...I didn't see any "plain edge" hype. Nothing. Looked clean.
It's the bidders who are doing their own damage.

I just get frustrated when I see people falling for such "scams"!!!!
You are most correct....the auction is honest and clear.
Russ, what does he mean by head/head roll???
Thanks in advance.

It means the obverse is facing out on each end.
