You're the type of buyer with unrealistic expectations that I sure wouldn't want buying anything from me. What's your eBay ID?

That's still cruel to the seller. Unless yo are returning them to the mint.
It is possible for little pin holes on an MS70 coin. They appear due to the minting process and the coin is still as it was struck so it can receive a grade of 70.
This is why you wait for the other party to leave feedback before doing so yourself.
Returning coins because they don't grade 70? Assuming they are UNC, he should at least leave them in the PCGS holder when he sends them back to the seller...
Maybe his turnaround will be as long as mine and he won't meet the deadline for returns.
If you are determined to have coin graded MS70, buy one that is already slabbed. If you can not tell the difference between a coin that is graded 69 and 70, learn how to grade. Otherwise, you will be wasting your money.
Great transaction with: Relaxn, Collectorcoins, OKCC

I apologize to all of you, I really do. I just don't know how strict they are on the 70's. I won't ask for any more help. >>
It's not totally unreasonable to return an item that doesn't make 70 if it's an issue that is usually a 70 candidate (if such a thing exists). Otherwise it would be akin to returning a $2 average circulated indian cent because it's not an 1877.
Don't sweat it. It's probably best if the thread just dies.
<< <i>Heck, and why does everybody think I go these on Ebay?????????? I never said that once.
Once again, I sincerely apologize to all of you. >>
Do yourself and any dealers you might buy from a favor and get yourself educated before wasting everybody's time. If you are buying stuff with the expectation of having the coin graded 70 (absolute perfection) but don't realize what the requirements (absolute perfection) are for that grade, you're wasting everybody's time, being unrealistic as a buyer, and wasting your money. Great way to piss everybody off and get yourself frustrated. Will you buy lottery tickets and try to return them if they don't win? That's what is coming across to me.
Why apologize.?!?!..Is that what you want ..a Perfect coin under 20 x magnification..?? Some of us are content with a ms67 or ms68 in a modern coin. Even some classic collectors settle for ...geeze...a mere..ms 65 even..or ms 64.Learn to look at a coin with a different eye and you'll be pleased ........
I recently sent in several orders of gold&silver proofs plus others. I received some 70's so far on non proofs. Rest 69's . I expect around 10%. Be happy with 69. As said, kick in the cash for already graded coins,&/or buy from mint take your chances, resell what does not suit you.
I don't believe any coin to be perfect there for I think the ms 70 grade is bs. How many people can tell ms69 from 70 if you take away the slab? My guess would be not many.

Wow, everyones kinda rough on the new guy. He just ask a question and he needs a little guidence. If we treat all newbies this way and no one will get into this hobby.
Nick , go back and edit and I think you need a fairer shake than these guys are giving you. Please keep in mind they are joking with suggesting SGS .... Take it easy, mate and go take the bad stuff out.
1) Nick, you come on here, ask a (you believe) valid question, and you get slammed. 2) People are being somewhat harsh, but that is who some of them are 3) You don't seem to understand that many of these people also sell and it is very bad form to buy a raw coin, accept it, send it in for "perfect" and if it isn't achieved, want to return it. 4) Grading services aren't perfect and you are accepting that a 70 from PCGS is correct.....there are plenty of examples where it isn't 5) If something doesn't come back perfect, you want to return it....that is classless unless it is advertised as "guaranteed to get PCGS MS70 or your money back". 6) You obviously haven't do any background reading on the boards and just jumped in.....in that case, you get what happened.... 7) There are people on here who just like to attack others they deem as unworthy. Get used to it or leave. It happens. 8) Your last response is a way of getting around the censors and you will be booted for it if PCGS notices. Totally uncool by you. If you are that frustrated, take a timeout and/or move on.

Nothing wrong with that. But, it's silly - and unrealistic - to return coins because they don't grade MS70.

BTW Russ, that coin I bought from you better grade 70....er, oh yeah, it's graded and slabbed 70. I guess I'm ok.
