Block this seller....

Here is the email I sent him reguarding auction... Scammer

I noticed on Feb 22nd, you followed up a neutral comment about the 1909 S VDB. You stated that someone else had allready claimed it. That auction ended with 16 bags remaining. I see that you currently have 14 still remaining... yet according to your follow up, the 09 S VDB is allready gone. I would like a clarification on this before I think about purchasing anything.

His response was this to me...

"Please dont buy my bags. You have to many FB issues"

My reply to him...

Hahaha... you are upset because I caught you in a lie. My feedback is from one incident where my grandfather died. Your trying to blame your scammer ebay tactics on my feedback... hahaha. Good luck.

And his final response... (Edited to pass board regulations)

"F**K OFF A$$HOLE"

EBay seller name... carrconnection

Edited to add my user name... so you can see my feedback... I have nothing to hide.

BoatBright

    He's not just a scamster...he's a image scamster!

eBay is like the Mafia. If you're a good earner, they cover for you. It's not until you finally bring too much heat that they whack you.

Looking at both of your feedbacks, I'm not exactly at ease with either of you. There's a NARUed ID exactly the same as your PCGS ID, according to Toolhaus.

For that ID, while there are only two sellers that left negatives, they total 77 auctions with no payment.

  • I have no idea. Usually either of my id's are 30anvz28, or boatbright. I started on EBay with boatbright because I needed to purchase things for the business... and 30anvz28 was taken allready.

But to each his own. If your not comfortable with my feedback... it wont bother me... doesnt take any money out of my pocket... only yours.

Nonsense. Money won't fly out of my pocket because I don't do business with someone.

You caim that you're NOT 30anvz28 on ebay. I don't believe you.

Here's why i think you're the same person.

    1. The NARUed ebay userID is exactly the same as your ID here.
    2. Your PCGS profile lists you as being from Grove City, Ohio. That ebay ID with the same name also lists you as being from ohio.
    3. A google search with that exact moniker turns up a pretty significant number of references to "30anvz28" being in two places: In military service in South Carolina and in Grove City, Ohio.
    4. A myspace profile with the "30anvz28" userid links the two locations. "30anvz28" bought a z28 in charleston, SC while stationed in SC and "drove it home to ohio".
    5. Your boatbright ebay ID lists your location as SC.
    6. Your post here directly links "boatbright" to the "30anvz28" moniker.

    Everything seems pretty consistent.

Either you are the same "30anvz28" NARUed from ebay, or we're dealing with some pretty amazing coincidences.

I never denied being BoatBright or 30anvz28. My user name on here, scfyb.com, camaroz28.com, and ls1tech.com are all 30anvz28. My user name on EBay is boatbright because 30anvz28 was taken. Yes, I bought a 1997 Camaro in Charleston... want to see my myspace page? www.myspace.com/30anvz28. I am from Grove City, OH, and havent lived there for 5 years. I live in SC now. Either way, its no skin off of my back. I dont buy or sell much on EBay anyways. Its to much of a crap shoot.

I was sitting here thinking, how do you block a seller? And why?

thanks for the NARU explanation. Anyone know how to block? I have run into a few interesting people that I would like to be able to block from future transactions.

  • As someone who sometimes uses the internet in a similar fashion, I've enjoyed following this thread & Fjord's investigative work. It still blows the mind as far as what's out there about people that you can find out within minutes, if you know where to look.

I've never tried to block potential bidders and I've never had an auction for approved bidders only. I'm sure someone here will post the procedure before I would be able to look it up.

There are a few threads here already that will tell you how to do it. I would search the forums for the appropriate keywords for you, but I'm just too lazy.
