Just missed this...

I am a little disappointed. Looks like a great coin.

    I'm liking that lincoln.

Wonder what it would have taken to win it?. I bet you wish you bid $20.00 more.

I was watching that one too...
It does look like a nice coin from the images, and at a little over $200, I think the buyer got a great deal.
    I'd much rather have the 31-D than a 31-Simage
  • For some reason I lowered my bid an hour before the auction closed. I'm regretting it now.

Tbar..I know how you feel. I've regretted missing a certain coin which was listed on eBay a few years ago.

I saw this coin listed(I am still trying to find it, so I won't tell you what coin it wasimage ) and put in a pretty strong bid for the coin. I got sniped out at the last second and was, understandably upset. Checking the winning bidders' history, he seemed to bid often on this particular sellers auctions.
Surprise surprise the same coin listed by the same seller not more than two weeks after the first auction I was sniped on. I didn't go as high the second time around because I knew the guy was shilling. I ended up losing that one again at the last second to another bidder.

I have been kicking myself ever sinceimage
  • I think that the price that coin ended-up at was a super deal! I would have bid on it myself if I was looking...

I had an experience similar, although on a Heritage auction. A 1914 65RB Beauty...strong strike, clean fields, great lustre and color. A truly PQ coin for the grade. Coin sold for well above previous auction values...just couldn't pull the trigger at the last minute. Reget that one.
