Coin World

Any problems lately with Coin World delivery? Mine is getting later each month. It's a no-show from last Thursday. I know this topic pops up now and than, but it's good to know I'm not alone not receiving the Scriptures. imageimage

far superior to Numismatic News, but ALWAYS late...that's the trade-off for me.

I used to get it on Thursdays like clockwork. Lately, it's been erratic. One arrived today.

Yea, most times a week late. Sometimes I get this weeks paper before last weeks. Tried ON-LINE paper but hard to read. Still worth it. image

I must agree with this...I have emailed them about it...I do wonder what planet they get their prices from.
They are either over the top or in a rare strange moment...way under...like Bust Halves...they are right on top of GS bid and on some coins...under GS bid...

  • I received 26 february's issue on the 22nd. So no problem here. Sorry for your situation.

  • You mean it's not a Monthly??

Wow, I signed up in mid-December, I've received one issue.
  • I received both the February 19th (mailed 2/6) and 26th (mailed 2/13) issues on February 19th. I received the March 5th issue today. They have been EXTREMELY inconsistent with delivery. It's not just you!

I normally get mine on Thursday, but this week it came today.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

The Post Office is bucking for another rate increase. Every time they do, the service gets a lot worse until the rate increase is approved, and then suddenly the service "improves" back to its old level of mediocrity.

my c.w. was late also and i think it was cause of the holiday closing. i usually get mine on thursday but my last one was two days late,i don't blame c.w. i blame the post office, many many times my neighbor calls me on the phone to tell me my copy arrived at their house! it's a shame people can't take more pride in their job.

I've had problems over the past few years with late
delivery of CW, and their investigation shows that
the paper gets to the PO on time, but unless it's
first class, it sits in the back somewhere, until an
employee decides to sort it and put in the right
    carrier's route.

I've verified this myself, so any late deliveries to you
are due to YOUR post office, not Coin World.........
