Barber Half Question: Would you want to own with this toning?

Just curious, I saw the coin image and it looks great and then you see it in the slab and the coin looks black which means Heritage is toying with our minds.
I think this adds to the phrase that you should never buy from a photo.

Edited: I guess I should mention I experienced this a couple of years ago on a Barber Quarter. The ANR picture showed lots of pinks and greens but when I got the coin it was very dark and you could not see any color.
Heritage shows both the coin and the slab and I can't see how anyone would want a black coin that only showed color when photographed and edited.

Which is not to say anything about this particular coin, since I haven't seen it in hand.
Not sure about the slab pics my guess is the coin is somewhere inbetween, but you're right about buying from a photo sometimes you might get away with it but on a proof Barber with toning it's almost impossible to judge.

<< <i>The coin is a proof and it is not unusual for proof surfaces to show up as dark or black in a head on shot such as Heritage uses for their full slab images. The other image may very well be as accurate, or even more accurate, than the head on shot, but without seeing the coin in-hand it would be impossible to know what it truly looks like. This is not a case of Heritage toying with anyone's mind. >>
That is a good point. Although with that much toning it is hard to believe that a straight on shot would look that black? The example I mentioned in the first post was a Barber Quarter that had very similar toning to the colorful Heritage pics and then when I received it, it looked closer to the black slab pics.
Either way it would be interesting to see it in person just to see which of the pics are more realistic.
