I Just got this email from the mint, regarding my backordered Plat sets. I'm not sure what it means, anyone else getone? Anyone know what it means?

Isure don't take this as confirmation that I will get mine. It says nothing differrent than the web site. Back ordered.

The real test will be if the date listed on the web site keeps changing, if it stays the same maybe if it keeps going out one day at a time like always I would not get my hopes up.

One thing's for sure, the selling price of the
$50 Plats have gone up about $300 apiece,
since they went to backorder status.

Keeping my fingers crossed as well...

I received the exact same email a few hours ago for the final 4 coin set, I had already received other 4 coin sets ordered.

I took this email to mean that the Mint really, really means it this time! Despite the many times the date moved to the right, this time gosh darn it, the Mint is committed to sticking to this date and sure as there is air, they will ship on 13 Mar.....we'll see.

Yes, I too rec'd the email yet under the mint's site, as it did with my backordered Gold Anniv sets, the notation is "shipped" yet on the other line "not available or no longer available"???

I got the email today too saying that my order would ship on March 13th and when I logged in it read: "2006 AMER EAGLE PLAT 1/2 OZ UNC W/MNT MK Item No Longer Available".

I had three orders that said shipped. All of them are now canceled.

I just called because I got three e-mails, one for each order. When I asked for a supervisor, she told me they have none, and that my order was canceled. I will not be receiving anything on the March 13th because they are all gone.
