Circulation find today.......1949-D Dime!

OneyOney Posts: 1,394 ✭✭✭✭
Just checking my change today before I give it to my wife to roll and I noticed a rather nice looking Roosevelt dime, I checked the date to find it to be a 1949-D. Nice F/VF. Just don't see these in change too often anymore.

I found a roosie(1965) that is about 2/3 the normal thickness and missing the reeded edge today. You can see each layer of clad and a copper center, but it appears to have bad surfaces so it isn't probably worth any premium.

I found a 57 just yesterday (also F/VF) -- first silver I've gotten in change in 2-3 years at least!

silver, that is becoming very uncommon, a 1938 nickel can still be found.
