<< <i>As for Battle Creek vs. Continental Bank Hoard, the few experienced dealers who were around for both hoards agreed that the BC coins were comparable to CBH. Both Mike DeFalco and Larry Shepherd thought there was a good chance that the (9) BC bags actually came from CBH, or from a very similar source or circumstance. >>

This has been my feelings all along, all though I have been wrong in the past.
If It doesn't have great eye appeal, I don't want it.

<< <i>Geez, after a full night out I return and this thread is still going strong?

You can't swing a dead cat at a coin show without hitting a dozen or so Battle Creek Morgans. 'night. >>

For that matter, that same cat being swung would hit a number of groups of various coins, including the hundreds and hundreds of coins incorrectly labeled as PQ, IMO. At least for the most part, many of the Battle Creeks are indeed PQ. Some minimally, and some PQ doesn't begin to describe the eye-appeal.

The dates and looks are generally similar. Pretty indistinguishable, on average, between the two.

Yep, "cute" is Bryan's code word for knock your dick in the dirt color.

I'm glad ArtR and Gemtone65 weighed in. Of course, Dizzy won't even grasp how thoroughly he was just owned.
