Seated Quarters MS - For Roadrunner

I was filling out a survery that the LSCC distributed for Seated Quarters and needed some help with varieties. Roadrunner was kind enough to help me out so that I could complete the survey. I usually post seated coins in proof, so here are some MS Quarters out of my collection, for Roadrunner, our resident seated quarter expert. The 1868 is in a PCGS MS66 holder, and the 1890 is PCGS67. I forgot to clean up the holders, so the marks you see are on them.

Some refer to overgraded slabs as Coffins. I like to think of them as Happy Coins.

Those are 2 neat seated 25c's. I'm partial to the 1868 since it's a nice sleeper in UNC. In MS66 you have a monster in that one.
Reminds me a nice story from 1975 or 1976 at my first B&M auction where I was mail bidding. There was a gem 1868 25c listed and I bid $1200 based on Bruce Lorich's descrition of it. Imagine my surprise when I hammered for $850 or so. I was elated...until they told me I didn't win it and it sold to a floor bidder who took it home already. A formal letter of condolence from QDB did not help. They stated that less than a fraction of 1/10th percent of the bids get messed up, and they were pretty proud of that. It didn't get me the 1868 quarter though. Ever since I've always sort of "wanted" one.
I still have that QDB letter in my archives. One of our Libety Seated forum lurkers also has a sweet UNC 1868 25c.
