Don't feel too bad. I have a stack like that too. Now the next question, what's the best way to clean them off?
I don't care about conditon, just want that green stuff off.

I have a lot of coins with this kinda of patina..............not all in one lump though.

Mine comes from a GF with OCD who thinks money is dirty, so it gets washed in bleach/water.

Those coins look like ancients. If that lump is of ancients, I'd love to have it just
to find out what's in the middle.

The coins were most likely buried in soil for hundreds of years...

I have the same thing. Mine wernt in the cup holder though... rather a small area under the e-brake that is a square. I throw my change there. I spilled soda, and now have a block of green pennies. It didnt stick together though when I pulled them all out. I just threw them in my change jug.
