Another newbee question

Is it ever the case that a coin in a PCGS slab was not slabbed by PCGS? Can I trust coins advertised as PCGS graded coins on ebay as legit?

<< <i>Yes you can, as long as the slabs have not been opened and resealed with a new coin. >>
PCGS slabs shatter and crack when you try to open them.
