All you need to find is one Cheerio dollar, we all know they're out there somewhere.

That would sure make it worth the time. image

    Why the hell not?

Probably easier to get the dollar coins that way then going to a bank.

You have to buy a product at the machine in my post office and the lowest priced item was $2.40 and that was for postcard stamps that i would not use, but they just put a pack of $.02 stamps in there for $.80 so I will be able to get dollar coins more often, and the change is usually made up of half new shiny Sacagawea's and half old ones.
  • I dont really care for $1 coins.... and I havent figured out what the damn difference is between a cheerios dollar, and a reg SAC... so whatever.

    No you don't!!!

Put in $20.01, buy a 1 cent stamp, hit the No button and out come (20) $1 coins sound like Vegas, too

Different PO's have different machines and rules. My PO in Louisville had no machine, and the machine here only has booklets of twenty 39 cent stamps AND DOES NOT RETURN CHANGE! You have to use exact change or you lose it. There's a warning of that right on the machine. No postal slot machines for me!

It's the same at the PO where I live, used to give change but now doesn't. I guess I hit it up one to many times and they got tired of filling it.image
