question about unopened proof and mint sets

I was going to buy a unopened proof set when I ran into this ad on ebay

Q: You are right I either copied the title from another item or I listed it when I listed an unc. set that I put up at about the same time, I listed the uncirculated set as being sealed probably from sitting in my closet in storage I figured the glue stuck, My description says that the set you see is the one you get so obviously it isn't sealed, but out of curiosity I looked at all my old sets that I will be selling and the old uncirculated sets have glue but the newer ones do not. the early proofs have glue that was never sealed what is to stop someone from licking the glue and saying it was never opened? I bought these from the mint originally and can't remember but I don't think any of them were sealed none of the old ones are torn open or have any indication they were ever sealed. Do you know if the mint sent them sealed or what? I see many advertised as never opened and I could have just licked the glue and sealed this set if I wanted to deceive any one. but I don't think they came sealed? am I right or wrong? thanks for answering in advance. paul
