Been playing with the camera again and the Gold Buffalo seems a bit tricky.

I tried for awhile and gave up. Below are my results I would like to replicate what I have seen from the TrueView service with the nice ripple effect in the fields. Maybe my limitation is that it is in a slab?

Camera: Canon 30D
Lens: Sigma 150mm Macro Lense
Lights: GE Reveal x2 in cheap clamp on light fixtures that I put on the tripod over a chair.

Edited to say: Imaged in an NGC slab.

Not bad, although I still don't see the ripple effect in the fields. Mine is a bit underexposed and yours looks slightly over exposed but I'm sure that's not it.
Maybe angle of lighting but then I get too much reflection.

It's the angle of light. I angled it so it would get enough ripple I felt an accurate image warranted. The proofs are much more dramatic. I have one here in the office but I haven't imaged it yet.

I will have to play a little bit more with the lighting. I was thinking it was possibly the slab keeping the camera from capturing the ripple reflections correctly because I can see it through the lens. When I take the snap shot, what you see is not what you get.
