My roll today offered 25 washies that looked like they were lightly rolled over by a bus... spend 'em.

Everytime I play the local PO slot machine I get ugly SBAs in change.

  • at the stamp machine at work (hospital lobby) i get Sacs, and Susan B's all day long. at the Post Office stamp machine i get only Sackies.
  • What you have to do is put in $20.01, buy the one cent stamp, hit the return and get the 20 $1 coins.

My son and I do it once a week.

The problem is that at every Post Office there is an employee who is a 'cherry-picker', working the coins before they get loaded into the machine.
  • The banks here in Colorado Springs are hoping the new dollar coins come in their order tomorrow.

Nah....my Bank of America still doesn't have them and when they do get them, they have stated it will be limited....luckily, Wells Fargo ordered them (I think this branch only did 1 $1000 box) and I got first, and last, dibs on them (I got them first...had them open the box, and sell me the H-T rolls, then had the wife go back a day later and get another few hundred so I can spend them and have fun....these were the last of the box)

  • Coin-operated stamp machines are being phased out by the US Postal Service in favor of card-operated machines. The Post Office will no longer be a source for dollar coins in the near future.

I tried the machine at local post office today- bought a $7.80 book of stamps and put in a $20 bill - got back 3 of the new Washington dollars and nine 2001-P Sacs along with 4 nickels- one a Canadian!
  • Did you check the 2000-P to see if it was a Cheerio's Sac? You never know. image
