2001 Donruss Elite

Hey everyone, except republicanAss,

I had another question... I have noticed that the STUNNING 2001 Donruss Elite set cards are hard to come by. Actually, the harder more limited Mirror cards seem harder to find. Does any one know if the sales of these cards were affected by the events of that year. Also, has anybody here tried collecting the set? Thanks again!

    DiD I mention have have the Donruss mirror press plates which are a 1/1 from that year. I also collected some "short and curlies" from the the top excutive of Donruss in 1991 during his executive trip to Las Vegas that VERY YEAR. I tried collecting the set, ya know to go with my various 1/1's, but it seems someone is CORNERING THE MARKET. Did someone mention Animae contests??
