A warning about a high dollar "Accented Hair" listed on Teletrade.

This PCGS PR67DCAM is NOT the Accented Hair variety.

I'll be calling them Monday morning to give them a heads up.

Wow! And it's all PCGS's fault!

It's more likely that the submitter listed it as an Accented Hair on the submission form. With six second grading, these can get by sometimes. I've seen them both in PCGS holders and NGC holders. I've also seen the other way around.

I assumed that as well but had to poke fun.

Boy! PCGS will label anything you tell them to!

IMO the coin isn't DCAM either.

Not surprising considering Russ owns 92% of all accented hair Kennedys ever struck.

It certainly doesn't appear so from the images.

I looked at that coin last night at length in the DjVu and couldn't see the markers for the AH and thought maybe
it was just me and my inexperience. Good catch Russ.

yeah, maybe it's one somebody tried to slip through after it was posted here a couple years ago that you could do that and get away with it.

I don't think it was a mechanical error, I think the sealing room got the coin order mixed up
