1954 Topps Aaron Rookie Card for sale-VG

I have an authentic 1954 Topps Aaron Rookie card for sale. Vg condition, here are the scans. I am ptarmandiblex on eBay, so check my feedback. Ebay has apparently invoked a bizzare policy where they will not accept cards like this for auction that are ungraded. Go figure.

The card has moderate corner wear and a couple of light creases. The centering is good and there is not much surface wear.

The price, delivered and insured is $425.00

Thanks.

    Really??

Do you have a link to this policy as I would like to read it or is it something that they said in an email to you?

Here is the short version. I listed it and they pulled the listing. I asked why? They said that they did not know if the item was authentic or not and they had no way of knowing, so they just ended the listing! Apparently they are doing this on high profile cards like the Aaron Rookie. I was shocked. I called and I wrote them, but got no satisfactory answer.

    Here is what they said:

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to this auction.

Your items have been ended due to authenticity concerns by eBay. The
auctions contain common traits that are associated with questionable
listings. Specifically, the auctions are for high priced sports
memorabilia that are commonly associated with counterfeits.

We are extra careful with problematic sports card auctions. We are not
in a position to judge the authenticity of items. As such, we cannot
say for certain whether or not your card is authentic. As a reminder, a
seller must know for certain that the item they are selling is
authentic. To prevent a possible removal of your listing, we recommend
you get this item authenticated or graded. Here is a link to
    authentication companies that eBay recommends:

    ????!!!!

They don't know, so THEY JUST PULL THE AUCTION?

How creepy! I have been a member in good standing for almost 10 years. I have one negative feedback that occurred NINE years ago. I have over 1000 positive feedbacks this year alone.

    What an insult.

    Thanks ptarmandiblex.

Funny how they don't seem to have an actual policy page to this but it's eBay so they will do whatever they want.

It's like: Other people have tried to sell counterfeit goods, so we are going to punish everyone, even those good sellers who spend hundreds of dollars a month paying eBay fees. The fact that even as a Silver Powerseller, I could get no answer was additionally frustrating.

Odds are someone reported your auction and that alerted eBay into thinking the card is possibly fake. And the funny thing is that before there had to be an actual policy violation such as an authenticity disclaimer saying something like "can't be sure it's real" or "doesn't say reprint on it anywhere" and a million other lines that people that have been trying to sell counterfeits use on there everyday.

Also proves a point that Powersellers are not getting preferential treatment.

    Yes they did.

They also threatened to suspend my account if I tried to list it again.

Guilty....no due process, no hearing, no nothing.

I am very disappointed in eBay over this thing.

Yes, it does suck. You would think that they would take the time to look at the Seller, wouldn't you? I mean, with one negative feeback in 10 years, a Powerseller, etc., etc., don't you think they should take the time before just yanking your listing and declaring you guilty? Ridiculous policy.
