What does it take for e-bay to boot? guess not 1000 neg's

This is pitiful. 2300+ feedbacks in one month, over 100 of them neg's..that sure is selling a LOT of junk.
Check these numbers out. I know why, but I just have to ask again..Why does e-bay put up with this?

rip off

I think you need to recheck your numbers.

I agree he is selling junk to those that want junk.

he gets neg'd from those seeking a bargain, seeking a find that we all know does not exist.

ships fast, what else does a person want?

eBay is making a ton off this seller. whether they're selling junk or not they couldn't care less. it's all about the $.

I see nothing wrong with it.
Look at what he sells. Who in their right mind would bid on that crap.
What I see is a seller tapping into the endless line of delusional people hoping to get something for nothing. If you read his auction descriptions it's obvious he's selling mostly junk. Can't blame EBay for customer stupidity, although some would try.
What is that age old saying? oh yeah.. buyer beware. As pertinent then as today

1007 negatives, 193 ratings mutually withdrawn. Interesting feedback comments received include: he sells "junk", he is a "feedback extortionist", and "I wasn't aware I had to negotiate with thieves to keep a perfect rating". Wow. IMO stay away from this seller.

You don't get it Bosox48. They are making Ebay a lot of money with all those transactions. Ebay is not interested in the negatives. Just show them the money!!

Look at His other auctions. Amazing how many of those fortknox banks could fit in the back of that desk drawer. A couple of thousand at least LOL

That seller has a 98.4% positive feedback rating......pleasing a huge volume of people is not easy, 98 out of 100 of their customers are satisfied. Did you maintain a 98% GPA in school? No one is perfect....

He's not so much a crook as he is a weasel...He puts this crazy spin on his auctions such as "he found these jars of coins while out metal detecting" says one auctions...and he didn't bother looking at them but just dumps them in a bag and sends them to you...yeah okay buddy.

Read some of the feedbacks, some of the buyers aren't happy but they know that with a negative, they'll get one in return, so they pass. Plus there are a bunch of ratings mutually withdrawn, which is withdrawal of negatives and also IMO indicates some feedback extortion.

Yea...kind of reminds me of this other auction that stuck in my mind "Little packets of antique coins" with no further description. Just plain loco.

That is either the most naive or most idiotic comment I've read here in months. It's no secret that many of the biggest crooks and scammers on Ebay often times have very good feedback ratings.

I've read this guy's feedback and looked at his auctions. I'm with the seller. It is the buyer's fault here. They're greedy fruitcakes who are illiterate and/or insane to bid on this garbage. The ad tells a story about metal detecting and finding jars of coins. At the very end he says "is this story true? I'm not saying". Of course it's not true. Yeah, this guy goes metal detecting and found 50,000 blue glass jars filled with coins. And some of them are brand new coins. Yeah. And there's 50,000 people around his state with blue glass jars and lots of coins and they all got together and buried them in the dirt for this creative seller to find, and lucky him he found them all. Umm Hmmm. The ads clearly state MYSTERY LOT. The buyers left appropriate feedback. The seller is fine, the buyers are fine if that's what they want to waste their money on. I see no reason to kick him off eBay. He and his buyers are getting exactly what they want.

The seller is a slimeball, and ebay is fine with slimeballs, as long as they give ebay their cut....

Look at some of these bidders--their feedback tells it all...

<< <i>Not as anticipated and Seller did not mark with estimated values as promised >>

This bright bulb expected the seller to tell him/her the value of each coin by marking the holders with inflated values!

    << <i>knot worth the money >>

Well, I'm "knot" quite sure if this genius is of legal age to be on eBay in the first place...

<< <i>I took a chance on getting scammed and I got scammed. Won't do it again. >>

This guy admits his flaws, and the flaws of everyone else who bid and felt "taken".

<< <i> it is worth more than pay but I question the $14,900 value as being realistic. >>

This one's a real rocket scientist, I tell ya.

<< <i>there was only two of the types of coins you've shown, and i'm not satisfied >>

She was lucky to have gotten even 1 of the coins pictured, since the ad clearly states you probably won't.

<< <i>Rec-can't tell what ship- poor response--did rec what paid for-never do business >>

This negative admits the buyer received what he paid for, but he's "not happy"--why is that, I wonder? Greedy.

<< <i>Coins over-graded, Offered refund but I declined. will not buy from again. >>

This buyer must be thrilled to keep his overgraded coins. He refuses a refund!

<< <i>I should have read the comments. Misleading 2006 nickels are not antique yet. >>

Yeah, everyone should have read the previous comments--that's what feedback is for.

<< <i>i am not impressed. you get what you pay for i guess >>

Well I guess you do. Too bad you're middle aged and still haven't learned that fundamental life lesson?

This is just the first few pages. I can't go through anymore--they're all the same. His auctions attract idiots.

1000 "Fort Knox" banks from China: $837.00

$500 Face value junk coins: $1000.00

10 Hours casual labor to fill and pack them: $150.00

Writing multiple pages of vacuous blather pimping your product: Virtually $0

Making five times cash on cash selling them on Ebay AND getting to read whiny, often misspelled and moronic feedback from buyers expecting to get something for nothing: Priceless

The bidders here are trying to follow the rainbow, but instead of finding a pot of gold they found a steaming turd; if you're stupid enough to bid on crap expect to get crap!

He's a junk seller who gets negs from people not expecting junk but doesn't seem to be explicitly dishonest. Just don't buy from him and you'll be fine. Don't slam ebay because all sellers aren't perfect.
