After handling THIS hastle at PCGS today, I was casually looking through my coins, and found ANOTHER Coin ID number error that I'll have to mail back to PCGS to correct as a Mechanical Error!
You folks had better look through your recent submissions.
This one is ID'd as a 2006 Silver $1 bullion coin!

considering the volume graded.
They are always nice about making corrections.
Cool! I love it!
Anytime you want to unload that one just let me know when you go over the the B/S/T boards!
Otherwise you better keep that one!

You are assuming that every error is reported here. Seems to me that you have to set the rules for return or they don't offer to pay for shipping or compensation for your troubles. With that said, it's not any better across the street. I've had numberous slabbing errors in the past 6 months.

Also is he comparing the errors reported to ALL of the coins slabbed, or to just the coins slabbed by the members here, or just the coins submitted by the people whose submissions came back with errors? The percentages are or may be radically different.
no really considering the volume, mishaps will happen,....and if the correct the problem quickly, than thats good customer service where I come from.....
<< <i>Gee, and I thought we were all happy about the quick turn around times.
What quick turnaround times?
