To late for PCGS to grade 20th Anniversary Sets?

Is it too late to have your 20th Anniversary Silver Eagle Sets graded by PCGS even if they are still not opened in the taped up US mint US postal mailing boxes? I was told they had to be to PCGS by a certain date to be authentic.

If they are still in the sealed box from the Mint, you can get them graded 20th Anniversary. You just can't get them First Strike. If the box is opened, you can only get the reverse, graded with the 20th Anniversary. You might check the date on the box though, you might be able to get First Strike. I just don't remember the cut off date.

The First Strike cut off date was 11/11/2006 for shipping from the mint. Thats what the shipping label must say. SAE Sets shipped after that which are still in the original, unopened , shipping container can get the 20th Anniversary Label.

Send em at Modern grading prices, add $2 buck per box to get those neat presentation boxes returned to you and send em in. They should grade in about a week!

Get em back in two weeks then sell em on Ebay for a bazillion dollars!
