Is there a reason some dealers stock only coins from 1 TPG?
I have noticed similar instances before but this afternoon I saw that David Hall's fine website seems to list only or almost only PCGS-graded coins. I actually prefer this but is there some non-obvious benefit for a dealer to stock only PCGS or only NGC slabbed coins?

Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."
What are the obvious benefits?

I think the most obvious benefit for katzcoins is that they could buy coins in ACG slabs for far less than they could if the coins were the same grade in ANACS, SEGS, PCGS, or NGC slabs.

Hello....anyone home?
Some of the reasons for PCGS only are as follows:
1. Easier sale to customers and greater customer acceptance
2. In general, but not absolute, stricter grading
3. In the case of David Hall, It would be sort of ridiculous If his coin
company did not support the grading brand, by buying PCGS coins
from dealers, for his coin company. A note, The coin company is a totally seperate
entity, from the Coin Universe and never grades coins owned by D.Hall rare coins,
but purchasing such graded coins from other dealers, as a strict rule of the company
to prevent any conflict of interest.
There are a number of companies that sell primarily PCGS graded coins.
While a number of these companies will from time to time sell an unusual
or particulary beautiful coin, graded by NGC , they find is good bussiness
to stay with a company that is respected by the general collecting public.

I've often wondered what happened to katzcoins- I had a less-than-ideal transaction with them before I learned what the heck I was doing on ebay...

They're probably around under a different name. Perhaps they moved from Palmdale to a ritzy part of Lancaster.
