Now they're trying to piss you off and get you to go to their link in anger. I've gotten several of these.
"You scum I've reported you and the police is comming to your home address ! oh yeah and your ebay account is deleted !! haha don't mess with me."
I often type in the FOAD reply before forwarding it to spoof@ebay.com.

Almost as amazing is all these type of acronyms can be googled too.
That's how I keep abreast of the new ones and those I've forgotten.
<< <i>Didn't offend me. I appreciate the "heads up". I do worry about responding to any spoof though, because (probably through lack of knowledge) I'd wonder if they could get any info from my email back to them. Otherwise I'd respond in a similar manner.
I generally don't send the response back to them as that would give them satisfaction in knowing that I actually read it. I forward it to ebay so they know my attitude and they can send it if they think the phisherman would benefit from it.
Responding confirms you're reading the note and will just get you more of them.

In the meantime, all we can do is keep each other apprised of new phishing techniques. I guess keeping one another informed is just about our only defense at this time.
