  RWB, this is the first I've heard of it. Maybe you should pm Julian or MrEureka or CaptHenway, maybe they have heard something on it.

  I have never heard of one and this is the first hint of one, as well.

  PNG member, numismatic dealer since 1965. Operates a retail store, also has exhibited at over 1000 shows.
  I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

  I'm trying to think why anyone would have even considered a dollar coin in 1936. Doesn't make sense.....of course, a lot of things don't make sense when it comes to the mint & its associated legislation.
