Do you think this is a good Ebay buy?

I was thinking that maybe this could be a better way for me to get US gold coins. Do you think that If I could get this for say 600 Euro's with shipping it would be a good deal. You have to paste the item number in or it won't come up. Ebay auction number 270082966347. Thanks for your imput.

I realize that my thinking is over in Europe, US coinage might not be as collectable and may sell closer to spot, I know that if someone tried to sell me a British souvern I would look at it as gold weight.

The listing says they only ship to Germany. You might want to communicate with
the seller b4 hand. Also, be very wary as they only accept a Bank Transfer. Why
not Paypal, which is used in Germany? What's the return privilege?
There are counterfeits aplenty in Europe. I'd buy here. Lots of good/bad stories
of those that bought gold out of Europe.

I sent him an email and asked just that will he ship to the USA and will he take a paypal credit card payment. I thought that maybe this coin looked too good and my gut thought it could be a fake, only better than the China trade dollars.

If you're not sure it's genuine, it really isn't a good buy, is it? Consider it is raw and the coin you get might not be the same one as in the picture. Just my opinion.
