From hsturn? Morgans and Peace dollars.

I do not know about his rolls in particular, but just look at how many identically cleaned commems that guy moves. Would you trust him? I am not just speculating. In my younger, dumber days I bought a coin from him, and it was deceptively but definitely whizzed, and every damned one of his commems looks just like that. I have long wondered whether he has a deep source of such ruined coins, or whether he is himself singlehandedly eliminating the population of decent AU commems.

With 14,688 different buyers giving positive feedback at 99.9%,
what are the chances that none of them actually had some of those
coins certified? I'm sure people would neg him if he was trying
    to pull a fast one?

I constantly watch ebay for early commems. Hsturn always has commems for sale. I dont know where he finds the thousands of commems he sells. All are perfectly white and look flawless from his photos. I have almost pulled the trigger several times on some of his stuff. There is just something that is not right. He never sells certified coins either. They just look too damn good. I am confused as to how he has such a good feedback rating. I would stay away.

i emailed him last year about a roll of same date Morgans, asking if they were cleaned or dipped. He responded that they MAY have been dipped at one time, he didn't know for sure. Every one of them looked like they were just out of a fresh bath. In fact, all of his rolls he had been selling were all gleaming white like they were dipped yesterday.

    Put-together rolls of baggy crap.

Do a search on "hsturn" for additional info about this seller.

He avoids negs by having a generous return policy.

At very least he is not putting coins in phony slabs and calling everything MS70. He does grade with his opinion.

The above does not make him a good seller though.

If you want quality rolls watch for the people with very little feedback, often a collector just starting to sell or a family member selling off a collection or buy only OBW rolls.

Buying from newbies is not without it's risks either. In fact, it's why I got into the fraud fighting business on ebay--my first transaction back in '99 cost me $60. I sent cash to a PO box, lol.

Always very nice photos with clean looking coins. Bought one once and would not buy again...there are several threads here about the seller that you can search for...I wish I had!

Great service. That's how they got the feedback record. Dipped coins. It is simple as that.

I recommend avoiding this seller. Cleaned, whizzed, dipped out crappy coins galore. A truely nice coin could sneak into his inventory occasionally, but I wouldn't bet on it. There's a reason his photos are small and cannot be enlarged.
