Some Help (Again) Altered Sufaces?

I got a Morgan back in a BB "Altered Surface"
The coin looks good and I dont see any signs of "wizzing"
Clearly I still dont see any problems and I am sure its my ignorance.
I have a couple of questions for the experts.
What bounces a coin for altered surfaces?
What can I look for?
Looking for some good guidance.

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Check for thumbing or hazing, or small areas that may not cartwheel from spots being lightly rubbed. A good light helps.
