Sorry to see your coins up for sale. It looks like the guy is getting out of the hobby, or is really hurtin' for some cash. He's got two collection up for auction.
Hey maybe your two coins will help him out of the trouble he is in???
My Mad Marty weenie coin is a precious star in my collection. That guy's a jerk, or MAYBE is raising money to ransom his daughter back from terrorists.
Buy it back, Marty, and save it for a soul who proves him/herself truly worthy.
That set (the 2 coins) were made for auctioning off to Charity for the ANA youth fund. Of those slabs there are only 50 of each.
But keep watching there will be another one soon!!! But not the $1 weenie! >>
IIRC, it was a $50 contribution to charity. I know because I bought a pair. It looks like our old friend will double his money on the deal. Forget the US Mint issues, when is Mad Marty coming out with the next limited edition?
<< <i>I have two that I won from Marty in the YN charity auction last year ... but I fail to see how selling them would make one a jerk???? >>
As stated earlier in the thread I'm busting Relayers stones about this. As far as care, people who bought the slabs at the charity auction can do whatever they want with them!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
With a total of only 50 of these and so many owners saying theirs are in their collections permanently, this one on ebay may go for Moon Money. Who's got a mailing list to alert the whales?
I'm keeping mine. Forever. In fact, if I ever got married again the prenup would stipulate that it's the one thing that stays with me in the event of divorce.
Looks like there is a small fortune in the Weenie market - although I'm sure it has its' shortcomings. Seems to be smoe stiff competition on Ebay for this hard coin.
<< <i>Now the REAL question is how many of you own actual Mad Marty PCGS pedigreed weenie dollars??? Huh?
>>
The one he sent me was raw and heavily circulated, which if you ask me is exactly how you should want your weenie....
... coin.

Not only are you using foul , purposely misspelled words, and inviting others to post pictures of the male genitalia ; but most disturbing to me is that you are mocking PCGS on their own site . More then a few members have gotten the boot for less.

I met Marty at a local show. He gave me one and I think it is great. People shouldn't sell gifts!

People who give gifts shouldn't attach strings to them. (But yeah, it's a dicey issue.)

Oh great - now we're gonna have threads professing the slow death of classics and moderns and touting weenie coins!
If I walk across the street I am in Vista and his shop is about 3 miles from here. Want me to pay him a visit with a baseball bat?

It wouldn't, many were obtained through non-giveaways. I think Madmarty was being funny in his OP.

The prices realized in the novelty coin market would amaze most coin collectors without experience in it.

Actually there are only 2 board members who have PCGS MM weenie coins.
